privacy notice.
A plain-language explanation of the information collected through the Validus Aero website and how it is used.
Effective 1 September 2026What this notice covers
This notice covers personal information collected when you visit this website, use its first-party analytics, submit a product-briefing request, or contact Validus Aero about the website. Customer operational data processed inside a contracted Validus Aero deployment must be covered by the applicable customer agreement and data-processing terms.
What we collect and why
Why processing is permitted
We use enquiry information to take steps you request before a possible business relationship and to pursue our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. The form also asks you to confirm that you understand and agree to this use. We use limited first-party analytics and security information for our legitimate interests in measuring, operating, and protecting the website.
You may withdraw your consent or object to processing by emailing us. This does not affect processing already carried out lawfully or information that must be retained for legal claims or obligations.
Cookie-free first-party measurement
Validus Aero’s website analytics does not set advertising or analytics cookies. A random identifier is held in session storage for the current browser session so page, guided-tour, and enquiry events can be counted without building a long-term visitor profile. If you submit the briefing form, the tour modules viewed, maximum progress, and conversion point are attached to the lead so the resulting conversation can begin with relevant product context. We do not use this website data for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Who may process the information
Access is limited to Validus Aero personnel who need the information to respond, manage the lead, operate the website, or protect the service. Website, database, communications, and security providers may process information on our behalf. We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect legal rights.
Some service providers may process information outside your country or the European Economic Area. Where required, appropriate contractual or legal transfer safeguards should be used.
How long we keep it
Website analytics events are scheduled for deletion after 90 days. Briefing requests and related business correspondence are retained for up to 12 months after the last substantive contact, unless you ask for earlier deletion or a longer period is needed for an active agreement, legal obligation, dispute, or security investigation.
Your choices and data-protection rights
Depending on the law that applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal information; object to processing; or withdraw consent. You may also complain to the data-protection authority responsible for your location.
Send a request to hello@validusaero.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. There is no fee for an ordinary request, although the law may permit a fee or refusal for requests that are manifestly unfounded or excessive.
What happens if you do not provide it
Name, work email, organisation, and confirmation of data use are required to submit the briefing form. Without them, we cannot reliably identify and respond to the request. The description of your current process is optional.
Updates to this notice
We will revise this notice when the website, hosting arrangements, service providers, retention rules, or processing purposes materially change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
